Attention Jewelry Designers!!!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Beads Of Cambay. All opinions are 100% mine.

Girls like to accessories, who doesn't, right? That is why jewelry designers are coming up with the most unique designs for their jewelries so as to attract more attention of buyers. Today, they are becoming more inventive and resourceful in finding materials to use. Because apart from gold, silver and many others, there are things called gemstones. And these gemstones can be found in Beads Of Cambay where they sell Wholesale Beads & Gemstones. Most of the beads here are unique in their own ways and is being offered in a very competitive prices.

Few of their beads are Aquamarine Beads, Drusy Beads, Tourmaline Beads, Copper Beads, Vermeil Beads, Sterling Silver Beads, 22kt Gold plated Copper Beads and my most favorite one the ever classic Freshwater Pearls. By mere looking at the photo, I can tell that it'll be perfectly made into a very chic jewelry. The uniqueness of the gemstones and beads will give designers an edge in jewelry making business. This is also best for people who wants to experience a Worry Free Shopping experience because they offer free shipping all over U.S. There are two choices on how to buy it, it can be wholesale or retail. That is really great news! Don't you think?

My Fave Post on Certified Foodies

I am a Pasta Addict by nature...I love eating it regardless what the sauce is or even none. But, one thing I haven't tried before is the Pesto based Pasta. I am afraid of it's look..hahahha...But, honestly, I really do. I have 2 bottles of pesto sitting in our cup board and I don't have the courage to cook it until now. I am afraid that if I cook it, it will end up in our garbage or my father will be the one patiently eats it. And I don't want to burden him of eating a not so tasteful food just for the sake of finishing it all up. But, it seems that my fear for pesto will soon end. Why? Because I have read Certified Foodies post about Creamy Pesto Pasta and Grilled Chicken – Recipe + Photos. I have learned that like me she first doesn't like to eat Pesto but eventually have changed...

I am very inspired with the way she have conquered this and I want to be like her. Having read her post and saw the pictures, I am now eager to try to cook Pesto Pasta and try it once and for all. I have now the courage to touch the 2 bottles of pesto in our pantry. And who knows, this might become my favorite too just like her!

Header #2

Again, I have changed the look of my A Mom's Free Will blog. This is because I am trying hard to study and DIY my site for the look that I want. I am no pro when it comes to designing but I am quite proud of myself that at least I have studied and tried. Here is the preview of my page...

Do you like it?

Experimental Template

I am busy studying and experimenting different template/header for my blogs. It was already uploaded in my other blog but still needs few modifications and all. I just want to see what it'll look like. Uploading the header is alright but I have a problem on the background. The one that I used only covered half of the page and I don't know how to adjust it to make apply it to the whole page. Here is the preview of the page and to better understand what I am talking about you can visit the site.

Feel free to post your comments because it is not yet final...

Being Visible

Every blogger wants their site to be WebVisible. Why? It is because it helps you earn from your blog and to get higher PR (page rank). The higher your PR the more the opportunities will come your way for paid writing and paid advertisement. That is why most of us are joining Memes, online contests and other avenues wherein other bloggers will then visit your site. When I started this site I have a page rank 2 but after a while, I lost it and now its a question mark (?). So, I decided to have my domain name changed now. I don't want to change it when Alexa finally gives me a PR. My blogger friends have told me that you will loose your PR when you change your domain name. You can also blog hop and leave messages or comments to the author telling them that you have visited them. In this way, most of your visited blogs will do the same thing in return that is visiting your site as well. And if you have gain friends around here, you might want to treasure them because they will be the one who is loyal enough to read and visit your posts.

A Clock on my Blog!

Being an online worker needs to have a very organized time management plan. It is not very easy especially when all of your employer give you tasks all at the same time. That is why I decided to add a clock on my blog so that I am always updated what time is it. And thanks to Dress Up Your Blog, I am able to look and install a clock that suited my taste.

I accidentally bumped into her blog while doing my rounds or random clicking. I was instantly amazed and mesmerized with the simplicity of her header. So I browsed through her post and I got caught up reading the "Add Clocks to your Blogs" post. It have helped me to have my own clock. It is not the only post I find very informative because many of her post were teachings on how to design your blog site. I often visit her because it inspires me to learn and study how to do web designs. My graphic artist hubby also told me that her works were very chic. So I admire her more....:-)

High School Days...

High school days are the best part of ones teenage life (well, as for me). Most of first times are all happening here. First time to have a crush, to have peers, to party and all. But, the most interesting among those firsts is the one where you are able to have your own group of friends. Having a group or belonging to a group gives you a sense of belongingness. Most of the time, friends that are formed from that time of your life has a stronger bond compared to those of elementary and college. I remember, my friends and I always do homeworks together, going to the mall together and we even sleep over to one of our houses. Our favorite past time was baking and when we were in the mood for music we played the guitar. We even gave each other acoustic guitar lessons because we were no pro when it comes to playing it.

Truly, I miss those days...I frequently reminisce my memories because it was on those days I first felt my freedom. Sometimes, I wish that I can go back and experience again being a teenager. Like me, I know you have one happiest experience too. Can you share it with me?

Technology & Horror Flicks

It is mid-November now and television shows still airs horror movies. The likes of Shake Rattle & Roll and more brought back memories of my childhood. In the same way that changes in doing films in terms of side effects and prosthetics are very much comparable. Sometimes, I can't help but laugh at how horror scenes from old movies were being done. I don't have anything against them but, it was just my mere reaction while I watched it a while ago. There are a lot of shocking scenes in a horror movie like someone will just pop out of the window while a creepy sound is playing, the use of rustic furniture that will be moved by a ghost is very popular too or a scene in a cemetery and all. With the advancement of technology, horror flicks right now are much adventurous and imaginative in terms of effects and how to shock moviegoers. This edition of films will be the ones that will be remembered by my son when he grows up. I just thought, will he react the same way as I reacted when I watched the horror films of my time? And what advancement in technology will be popular in those days considering that right now, latest gadgets are becoming unpopular in a blink of an eye?

Old & New Me!

I am in deep thought on what to write about Thirty on 30's mandatory rule. It is to write about the changes in your life. And I have decided not to be so melodramatic on my entry.

So here it is....
In every situation or problem there is a corresponding response to it. Having a baby and a partner or a family of my own really changes my perspective in life. I can say that it made me a more mature person, a more peace loving, affectionate and involve with the lives of the people around me especially my love ones.

All of these changes were brought about by me becoming a Mother and Parent to a precious child.

Nonetheless, there are also a lot of flaws in my character and I am sure everyone has too...But, one thing I would like to really, really improve or change is in the aspect of socializing with other people. I am more of a quiet type and will opt to just stay at home rather than attend gatherings and all. I want to conquer my fear of facing people in the level of socializing. And it is very ironic because I came from the Hospitality Industry and still I am too shy to deal with people around me. I am taking small, careful steps in order to conquer that fear. By reuniting with old friends and meeting new friends like the ones I have built here in the blogosphere.

This is my official entry for Just Another Pixel's Thirty on 30 Blog Contest!

The Road to Independence

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

In our culture, helping and taking care of our elderly whether they are handicapped or not, is still being practiced. Although, it is sad when you watch television showing parents being left on the streets because their relatives or their children finds them an excess baggage. It is hurtful to know but is truly happening. What can we do to change this practice or to put a stop on this cycle of our elders being left out?

One organization sees this problem and have a solution for the betterment of our disabled ones. NMEDA is a non profit association that aims to educate consumers specifically in buying vehicles for the handicapped/disabled. They promote safe driving and gives the consumer the power to have their own vehicle according to their needs. Because no two people are the same, so as their disability, NMEDA and its dealers are there to help you choose what fits your lifestyle. They have dealers located near you (you can check www.nmeda.org) that is available to assist and help. And by making sure that they are the qualified ones, NMEDA has Quality Assurance Program. A program that aims to satisfy the customer in a consistent manner by using a systematic and documented approach to quality.

So in this simple way of having their own specialized vehicle or equipment they have now the freedom to go places they want to and do things they need to without the help of anyone even a caregiver. You lessen the burden on them and your elderly can now enjoy their freedom. Contact the NMEDA Dealer near you and embrace the new road for independence it will give your elderly.

Are you a Fan of Quizzes for Girls?

Way back my younger years, we, my girlfriends enjoyed answering quizzes for girls. Examples of it were quizzes like, what type of guy we will end up with, does my crush like me, etc. I clearly remember that we even matched up the names of our crushes and see if we were compatible or not. It is our way of bonding together and enjoying our company. I am just curious if up until today girls do the same thing. And if I will be having a daughter, I am sure that they will also do it with her girlfriends. It will serve as a memory that can be remember over and over again when we grow up. Just like what I am doing right now, remembering and reminiscing all my good childhood memories.
