I just want to share this old KOMIKS that my hubby used to read when he was little. I think this belong to the 1st generation of comics that came out here in the Philippines in the early 80's. My son's turn now to read the funny and inspiring stories. I want him to read it because there are stories that has the teachings of God and promotes good values among children.

I read this to him every mid-morning when I am having my cup of hot tea. Do you still have one like this in your baul? :-)

Pink Friday#4

Ohh...It is Friday once again and I am not yet done visiting the past entries of Pink Fridays...Sisses I do promise that I will finish it this weekend. I rested my eyes from too much exposure to my laptop because I got dizzy and experienced really bad headache. Hope you can all bear with me...

Blogging & Me

Way back 2006, when I am still part of the working force of our country, I often heard/seen the word blog, blogging and blogger on TV shows. I remembered a blogger was featured on Jessica Soho's shows tackling about how she was able to earn by just doing reviews on the latest gadgets. When advertisers started to noticed her site it was also the time that the money kept coming in. I just thought that time that, that girl was really lucky and talented to have penetrated such earning opportunity.


(1)Blogging paved the way to many frustrated writers who aren't lucky enough to land a job in publishing companies;(2) or to those who are burnt out from their day job and wanted to call it quits with their bosses;(3) or to a lonely person who just want to have an outlet of his/her thoughts hoping that someone in the virtual world will take notice of her;(4) or to a housewife who want to feel that there is still life after her household chores;(5) or to a curious person who just want to try blogging because it is the "IN" thing now. Whatever the reason may be, the important thing to remember is that you should blog with all your heart and you are not using anyone to get notice.


I am reasons number 2 and 3. I started to build my blog from scratch and thanks to Mr. Google that he thought me every step that needed to be done. I became obsessed of my learnings and immediately opened up 5 blogs at the same time. Too bad most of them didn't work out since I never really have given much thought about each theme and they ended up in the trash. That didn't stopped me though, for the nth time I opened up another blog. But this time, I took baby steps in learning and developing it from it's template theme (which I won) and from having to bought its dot info domain. True enough by careful planning and managing it, it is still alive until now. After I established it, I decided to have another one with a general topic too and with a dot info domain as well.


Blogging changed my perspective on the internet. My first impression of it was only for searching and connecting with old friends and relatives through social networks. But right now, I am enjoying reading different topics written by my co-bloggers. I learned a lot from them and it is like sitting in a library reading tons of books with so much knowledge and informations you can grasp. I also became so vigilant to every place I go to checking out if there are events, new products, promos and anything interesting that I can blog about. Sometimes my family finds it weird when I took pictures of the food before eating them. Blogging opened the opportunity for me to earn at home. There are so much inspiring stories about earning online that I said to myself that someday I will be able to inspire other people too. True enough I managed to save my earnings that I am able to give my share on the household expenses. It also taught me the real value of money because what I am earning now really came from long patience and hard work.


With all this, I am eying to become a better and improved blogger this year and for the years to come. Never ending learning and researching are the key in achieving it. Asking question to the pro blogger friends I have can help me a lot too. And for the newbies out there, I can say the most effective way to learn this thing is through mentoring. I am also praying that Mr. Google will give me the page rank I am targeting for a very long time now. I know he will, but I know that I have also to do my share in posting quality articles and making a plan on how to increase the traffic to my site.

Pink Friday #2 - A Cutie Holder

I have a hard time thinking of what to have this Pink Friday day...I looked for old pictures and found nothing. And then, I remembered I have a picture of the Bath & Body Works hand gel with the scent I Love Bling with a pink holder that you can put in your bags. Isn't it cute?

Spam Mail from Paypal

I received last march 8, 2011 an email from the Resolution Center of Paypal. I immediately felt that it might be a fraud since it landed on my spam mail folder and I just felt that something was not right. It was stated that they believed a third party accessed my account and that I should update my account. There was an attachment I have to open and a certain JavaScript will pop up and I need to allow it in order to verify some informations. Having to read those instructions left me suspicious as to its real source. Also, thank God that I have read articles like this from other bloggers before. It was alarming though for some newbie that has no idea about it. So this post is specially dedicated for them to be informed.

When you have received suspicious emails like this you should:

1. Not open the attached file since it might contain virus that can harm your computer.

2. Not follow all the instructions stated in the mail.

3. Double check your account if it was indeed inaccessible.

4. You can also check from the company itself, like in this case, Paypal, if they indeed sent you an email regarding your account.

5. You can also check with your blogger friends if they have experienced the same thing just to be sure.

6. The email content was something like this:

It is always safe to be vigilant and informed when it comes to internet nowadays. There are still many people who will take advantage of those who doesn't know much. We don't want to loose our hard earned money in just one click.

My Dream Cuckoo Clock!

Time is very essential in our daily lives. Every household, offices, other places and individuals have their own gadget to tell time. Even my blog site has a clock on it to remind me whether I am working late or not. In our own household, we have different kinds of clock from wall clock, digital clock, watch and they vary on their designs as well. But, most of them aren't working now due to poor quality. That is why it is very important to purchase a clock that has aesthetic and good quality to be able to last for a very long time.

One company that produces World Class Wall Clock is the SINIX Corp. They came into the scene of clock making in the year 1998. Being on the top of their craft they are now producing as much as 300 different styles of clock that are being sold all over the world under the brand name "SINIX". Exporting to Middle East, Europe, South America and South East Asia are some proofs that they are indeed world class.

Truly having to read these awesome qualities of the clocks made by SINIX Corp., I will surely have to buy one in the future. I would love to have a grandfather clock that I can put in my own house that can be passed onto generations. I will also browse through their site (http://sinix.en.ecplaza.net) from time to time to check if they have new designs that I might be interested to.
