Eye & Ear Check Up

Prevention is always better than cure.

My son's school held a Vision-Audio Conservation Program last August this year. They had undergone eye and ear check up. I am sure that my son has no problems when it comes to hearing because I had his ear checked when he was still a baby. On the other hand, I am quite nervous with the result of his eye check up. He loves watching near the TV and we would always asks him to move far away from it.

So when I opened up his Notebook #1 this morning, the results was already inserted. I am relieved that all the results are ok. His vision on both eyes are 20/50. However, there was a note that he sometimes experienced a blurred vision and with that a regular eye check up is required.

Regarding his Audio check up, both his ears passed from 500 HZ - 6000 HZ.

In connection to that, although his results are fine, I should continue to take extra caution in taking care of his audio and vision.

It was delivered in our house and what I did notice is that the original tape of the package was removed.  I thought maybe the personnel who handled it opened it up and looked if there was something inside worth grabbing (just like in the news).  Fortunately, the item was there and complete.

My Votes For The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2011

I don't know how it feels like to win or be included in the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs. But, I want to support those that I think deserves to win and be acknowledge. This is my first time to join and even my blog isn't that famous I want to use to it change someone's blogging life. Here are my nominees for this years Top 10:

1. Mom Writes - owned by no less than Mommy Ruby. She inspires me (through her writings) in many ways about family life and being a mother. She is one kind lady who is always there to help new and old bloggers in any way she can.

2. My Painted Lips- this blog was born out of a mom's passion for lipsticks. I can really relate to her because of the busy schedule of a SAHM/WAHM there isn't a time for us to beautify ourselves in terms of make up.

3. Mommy Survival - this one is owned by sis Ellen Joy Castel. This particular blog is full or useful information and tips with regards to how to survive and conquer the responsibilities of a homemaker with flying colors. Her tips really helps me a lot.

4. My Green Living Ideas - this is owned by Mommy Ria. This blog talks about how we can help save our environment by living GREEN. This inspires me to care more for the environment and some of the tips I read from it, I share it to my friends.

5. The Tottering Mama - I am inspired by this Mom because the love for her children emanates through her blog. I salute her for her being brave and for being the greatest mom for her children.

6. The Pepperrific Life - a single mom's journal of how she raise her kid. This blog is a must read for those that are in the same situation. I even recommend this to my cousin...:-)

7. Notepad Corner - the owner of this blog is Mommy Joy. I don't know her personally but I can say that she is one kind person. I love reading her blog on different topics because I know I can use some of them later on.

8. Certified Foodies - this blog is owned by Mhel and Ken. They are siblings who shares their passion for food through their blog. I am from the food industry but isn't that adventurous when it comes to trying out new food. That is why I come to their blog to check out what is new and a must try item.

9. LEVYousa - Levy is the author of this blog. She came up with this blog to inspire people like myself on different aspect in life.

10. The Bloggers Journal - I have learned a lot from this blog. I am not a very techie person and I have several questions about maintaining a blog. I am very grateful that there is a blog like this that can help so many bloggers out there.
